LITTLE People Big World star Matt Roloff's younger brother Sam has shared that he turned down an offer from TLC to join the famous family's reality show.

Sam talked about their creative upbringing before Matt starred in LPBW, his upcoming art exhibit in the de Young Museum in San Francisco, California; and why he turned down TLC's informal offer to be a part of the show, all exclusively with The U.S. Sun.

Matt's younger brother, who has made a brief appearance on LPBW, is an artist in Sebastopol, California, a 10-hour drive south of Helvetia, Oregon, where Roloff Farms is.

His digital media piece The Rise of the Yellow Vests Act 23 - The Burning of Notre Dame is currently on display at the deYoung Museum through January 7, 2024.

Sam's second exhibit, Discovery of a Giant Frog Skeleton, is also on display through November 18, 2023.

In an exclusive chat with The U.S. Sun, Sam revealed he was once in talks with TLC producers about being on LPBW when the show was first starting out back in 2006.

Sam said: "My ex [wife] didn't want the kids to be involved in the show, and so that kind of put us off the list."

He explained: "I think it's not really healthy to have kids on the show."

Over the years, Matt's children Jeremy, 33; Molly, 30; and Jacob, 26, all stepped out of the spotlight.

Zach, 33, is still on the show's upcoming season with his wife Tori, 31, but The U.S. Sun reported they will not be a part of the following one.

Sam concluded: "It was never a formal offer, but just the first talks of [the producers saying], 'Hey, are you guys interested in doing this?'

"And the answer was no."

'TIRED OF IT?'

When asked about the family home on Roloff Farm for sale, Sam remarked: "It's kind of sad."

He explained: "It's a good family farm and hopefully they keep it.

"[Matt] spent so much time building it out - maybe he's just tired of it, I don't know."

Sam remarked: "The cowboy town, the castle, all of those things - it's sad to get rid of them all.

"The next guy is probably going to tear them down [and] that's no fun."

STILL FOR SALE

Matt first listed 16 acres of the farm's total 109 acres for sale back in May 2022.

Jeremy and Zach both presented offers to Matt to buy the farm, but he refused their offers and instead decided to put the land up for sale.

He asked for $4 million for the 16 acres which included the original family home and the bright red barn.

In October 2022, The U.S. Sun reported Matt decided to list the family home as a rental.

Back in August of this year, Matt put the farm back on the market but reduced the price.

The second time around, the TLC star is asking for $3.3 million for the land, and the farm is still actively listed for sale 91 days later.
