For many people who celebrate the holiday, the best part about Christmas is not always the gifts but the opportunity to decorate with Christmas trees, lights, music and more. The Kardashian-Jenner family is known for going all out when Christmas time rolls around, with the decor spreading from room to room, lining the halls and even serving as a backdrop for the bathroom.

Check out how the merry crew has decorated for the holidays throughout the years.

Kylie opted for a classic look again in 2022 after years of unconventional hues, eye-popping ornaments and faux-snow-covered branches. (She first made the switch in 2020.)

"Tis the season," the beauty mogul wrote alongside a video documenting her Christmas tree decorating process on Instagram.

In a few clips, Kylie revealed a heaping pile of shiny ornaments that she used to decorate her ceiling-skimming evergreen. Michael Bublé's holiday hit, "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas," played in the background as two younger members of the Kardashian-Jenner clan admired the twinkling tree.

For the SKIMS founder, the more Christmas trees, the merrier! Kim couldn't help but show off her bathroom's "magical" tree display on her Instagram Story.

"In my bathroom, I always have plants out there, and there's like a whole balcony and you can go through my shower out there, but right now this is all I see and it's so beautiful," the reality star said in the clip.

Look familiar? The entrepreneur showed off the "snow-covered" tree in her living room which appeared very similar to her displays in recent years. Kim unveiled her tree on her Instagram Story and how she wakes her kids up during the holiday season.

"It's that time of the year," she wrote on the video, adding that "@philthekeys comes over every morning to wake my kids up by playing the piano while the mad morning rush is happening to calm their little souls and fill it with beautiful Christmas songs."

Kylie's towering tree for 2020 was decidedly more classic than some of her past creations, though it was not subtle in size! "It's literally right at the ceiling," she said of the 18-plus-foot fir.

The ornaments are a mix of vintage pieces her family had on their tree when she was younger and new ones in the same style — including fun food-related baubles depicting a coffee cup, a stack of chocolate chip cookies and a burger.

"My mom used to put these on our tree every year, except I had to buy way more to fit this tree," Kylie explained with a laugh.

2020: Kylie Jenner's Mantel

In her living room, Kylie hung her embroidered vintage stockings by the chimney with care. "I had these made for you," Kris explained of the one bearing Kylie's name, which she's had since she was a little girl.

The makeup mogul added a few more to her mantel, including for her daughter with Travis Scott, Stormi, as well as for Kris and Kris' longtime boyfriend Corey Gamble. The seated Santa in all-white is also a family heirloom. "I've had this since I was born," Kylie said of Old Saint Nick.

The SKKN by Kim founder seems to be following in mom Kris' holiday decorating footsteps and sticking with a handful of signature pieces she calls on each year.

This classic evergreen is flocked (covered in fake snow) and has stood in this spot in the star's Hidden Hills home for the last several years. "Look how pretty," Kim noted in a video showing off the all-white scene.

Another standout element filled with the spirit of Kardashian Christmases past is Kim's forest of fluffy trees. "If you didn't think I would bring back Whoville in the house," the mother of four said, referring to the fictional town from Dr. Seuss's How the Grinch Stole Christmas that many compared her fantastical sculptures when they made their debut at the family's 2018 Christmas Eve party.

Kim's kids joined in the fun for an impromptu game of hide-and-seek amid the trees.

The Kardashian-Jenner family has never been one to skimp on Christmas decorations, and in 2019, the youngest Jenner pulled out all the stops when it came to the festive fir decorating her front foyer.

The makeup mogul shared a peek at the massive tree in her Hidden Hills home, which required a small team of people — at least four can be seen in the video — to help decorate and put up. The creative genius behind the snow-dusted, light-strung tree? Floral designer Jeff Leatham.

The young billionaire posed in front of her living room Christmas tree with family friend Fai Khadra before attending Sean "Diddy" Combs' 50th birthday bash. 2019: Kim Kardashian's Fluffy White Trees

The former Keeping Up With the Kardashians star shared a series of photos she took in front of the monochromatic, sculptural trees adorning the hallways of her mansion. The all-white Christmas decor matches the home's minimalist aesthetic.

"I love these. They're so whimsical, like Whoville, but all white," Kim said.

The sculptures are the work of Australian contemporary artist Kathy Temin. An event designer familiar with her work estimated they came with "a price tag of at least $10,000 each."

Keeping with the spare, monochromatic white theme, Kim opted for a snow-covered faux fir to decorate her and then-husband Kanye West's home. "It's so pretty," she said while showing off the tree outfitted with white string lights in an Instagram video.

Kourtney turned her home into the North Pole in 2018 with five trees, a massive pile of presents and two polar bear statues (similar to her mom's!). She asked her followers to weigh in on the color scheme of her decor in an Instagram video, writing, "With our without the red?" in reference to the ball ornaments that decorated one of the three trees in her entryway.

For her first Christmas with baby Stormi, the new mom, then 21, went for solid gold. Her metallic tree is seemingly the same height as the previous year's holiday centerpiece: 20 feet!

"Gold is the theme this year," Kylie captioned a video of the tree, with Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You" serving as the soundtrack. The towering conifer features gold branches, a variety of gold ball ornaments, countless glowing lights and even a gold-wrapped stand.

In 2017, Kris opted for a rainbow-theme display and chose to feature four smaller trees as opposed to her previous peppermint-inspired giant. She also didn't limit herself to her entryway: Daughter Kim gave a tour of her mom's outdoor holiday scene, which included giant nutcrackers lining the path to the front door.

The youngest KarJenner sibling may be the biggest fan of the holiday season. In 2017, she put up a 20-foot-tall snow-covered tree decked out in giant pink balls. "Thank you @jeffleatham & his team for making my XMAS dreams come true! 20 feet of magic! Even more perfect in real life … " she wrote in her Instagram caption.

Kris hosts an annual Christmas Eve party at her Calabasas, Calif. home and her decor has to live up to the hype of the star-studded fete. In 2016, Jenner called on Leatham to outfit the space in a "Kandyland chic" theme complete with peppermint-inspired ornaments on a massive tree and a life-size metal and glass polar bear guarding the staircase.

"One of the fun things is just deciding on what the theme of the tree is going to be because that sets the tone for the entire house," Kris told Architectural Digest of the elaborate process.

To complement her very pink living room, model Kendall chose a comparatively modest, faux snow-covered tree. The white branches, created with a spray-on process called flocking, are popular with the whole family, who are guaranteed a green Christmas in Southern California.

Why have one Christmas tree when you can have six? The mom of three put up a small forest of evergreens in her home, including two in the soaring entry and one in each of her children's bedrooms.

"Christmas morning takes place at my house and my entire family comes here, so I also have the responsibility to make it special for all of them, and I love doing it!" she explained in a post on her app.

A glimpse back at her 2015 tree reveals the mom of 6 recycled her peppermint-themed ornaments in 2016. They make an equally over-the-top impact in their original installation, which includes two smaller trees flanking the star fir and a garland winding up the double staircases.

Kourtney also revealed she may have been the originator of the gingerbread mansion trend. One year before Kylie's impressive construction, the eldest Kardashian sister showed off a cookie home with the caption, "Someone has been licking the house."

In her first home of her own, a then 18-year-old Kylie showed a glimpse of the Christmas maven she was born to become, sharing a snap of her fluffy tree outfitted with just a few metallic ornaments and some glitter.
